ABSTRACT
Pathogenic microorganisms from hospitals, communities, and the environment remain great threats to human health. The increasing concern about antibiotic resistance has also necessitated search for robust alternatives. Therefore, this study aims isolate, screen evaluate susceptibility of Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolated a soil sample taken northern, western eastern parts Kelana Jaya Lake against four antibiotics (gentamycin, tetracycline, ampicillin, penicillin) on Mueller-Hinton Agar media plate. identification was done by using API 20 kit. Disc diffusion employed as well oxidase test. From positive result, bacteria were identified Burkholderia cepacia (97.6% ID), (99.5-99.9% fluorescent (75.9% ID). Only isolates further evaluated tests. result showed that P. susceptible only three showing clear zone inhibition while it resistant ampicillin with no inhibition. Soil are potential sources development effective bacteria. Keywords: Antibiotics; Bacterial resistance; Sensitivity,
