ABSTRACT
Abstract Coal gangue is a type of rock waste product with dark gray color during coal mining and washing. The curing agent stabilizes soils by improving their physico-mechanical properties, allowing the to be reused in engineering as subgrade fill. This study investigates impact SAHP on road performance parameters gangue. results showed that increase content. compressive resilience modulus 7 days California bearing ratio 0.2% meet specifications. scanning electron microscope reveals presence agglomerated gels hexagonal prism crystals between particles. observed are ettringite, silicate gel (nSiO2·mH2O) formed reaction Na2O·nSiO2 CO2 H2O, determined combined X-ray diffraction energy spectrum analysis. improved can utilized fill, supporting reuse highway engineering.
