ABSTRACT
Abstract Engineering rock containing flaws or defects under a large water source is frequently subject to the couple influence of constant crack pressure and geostress. To investigate fracture behavior precracked hydromechanical coupling with pressure, compression tests were conducted on red sandstone specimens single different angles using device realize during loading, failure process was monitored by acoustic emission (AE) technique. The results show that presence has significant promotion effect development shear wing cracks, influenced prefabricated angle pressure. As increases, mode 0° precrack specimen changes from “X”- oblique along direction, main inclined (precrack 15°, 45°, 60°) small acute direction crack, irregular cracks occur at chipped in 90° specimen. With an increase average energy for hit, cumulative AE energy, hits decrease, proportion tensile increases decreases.
