ABSTRACT
Background: The rate of primary cesarean section (CS) is on the rising trend.More and more women report to ANC OPD with a history previous delivery.Vaginal birth after caesarean can be an effective alternative decrease complications associated repeat caesarean.Objectives: This study aims determine acceptability outcome TOLAC in one delivery tertiary care centre.Methods: prospective observational was carried out teaching hospital over period year.Sixty pregnant LSCS were enrolled study.Results: In present study, total 60 cases included.78.33% had successful i.e vaginal (VBAC) 21.67% underwent emergency for failed TOLAC.Cervical dilatation 4 cm at time admission significant factor TOLAC.Having also favourable prognosis achieving VBAC (89%).A weight than 3,000 gm lower success TOLAC.The incidence scar dehiscence 1.6% study.There no maternal or neonatal mortality.Conclusion: selected has great importance era because CS.With continuous efforts proper antenatal counselling, attempted very low complication rates.This will further untoward cesarean.
