ABSTRACT
The uncertainty and extremity of ocean conditions make the design marine structures a challenging process. To enhance material utilization system survivability, reliability-based optimization is necessary. In this paper, novel (RBDO) method proposed via combination topology, shape, size optimization. innovation includes multi-technology integrated approach new reliability assessment method. Topology, techniques are simultaneously incorporated into to obtain lighter structure. And an advanced arc interpolation (AAI) stabilize search for most probable point in assessments by dynamically selecting mean value or based on trend judgment criterion. RBDO process established using sequence strategy, which decouples loop from AAI loop. verified wind turbine jacket platform stiffened plate. results prove that has promising potential improve lightweight structures. Furthermore, superior providing more desirable compared with other methods.
