ABSTRACT
A study was conducted in fish processing facilities to investigate the microbial composition, metabolic modules, and distribution of antibiotic resistance genes. Whole metagenomic sequencing used analyze communities from different rooms, operators products. Taxonomic analyses identified genera Pseudomonas Psychrobacter as most prevalent bacteria. Principal Component Analysis revealed a distinct separation between product environmental samples, well differences samples companies either Gadidae or Salmonidae fish. Some particular bacterial species were associated with specific rooms operators. Metabolic analysis metagenome assmebled genomes (MAGs) demonstrated variations microbiome profile across The also examined presence antibiotic-resistance genes environments, contributing understanding dynamics, functional potential, implications for food safety public health.
