ABSTRACT
Dairy cow lameness is an important health issue, with a negative impact in animal welfare and productivity. Lameness has been assessed using locomotion scoring (LS) system based on behaviors postures related to gait. However, LS evaluation time consuming task that not routinely performed large dairies. Implementation of methods for early detection are easily incorporated into management could increase the rate detection. The objective this study was evaluate intra-rater reliability among postural gait abnormalities detected observations milking parlor (MP) headlock stanchions (S).
