Knowledge and Attitude Towards the Current Pandemic Corona Virus Disease and Associated Factors Among Pregnant Women Attending Antenatal Care in Debre Tabor General Hospital Northwest Ethiopia: An Institutional-Based Cross-Sectional Study

Purpose: The current emerging respiratory disease known as the novel Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) is now an international concern and a pandemic with non-availability of treatment. Due to altered physiology, weakened mechanical immunological features pregnant mothers constitute particularly suspectable segment population in any infection pandemic. goal this study was assess level knowledge attitude towards COVID-19 determinants among attending antenatal care (ANC) Debre Tabor General Hospital Northwest Ethiopia. Patient Methods: An institutional-based cross-sectional performed from June 05 26, 2020. A total 403 participated were selected by systematic random sampling. Data collected via face-to-face interviewer-administered questionnaire. entered using Epi-Data version 4.2 analyzed SPSS 23. Bivariable multivariable logistic regression analysis p-value < 0.05 at 95% CI considered statistically significant. Results: Overall, 52.1% 52.6% participants had good positive towardCOVID-19, respectively. Level significantly associated participants' age (15– 24 years) (AOR: 4.58; CI: 1.721– 12.201), educational status (AOR:7.78; 2.31– 15.65) occupation (AOR:2.26; 1.23– 4.15), condition pregnancy (AOR:4.55; 1.84– 11.25). Whereas (25– 34 (AOR:2.61; 5.55), husband completed secondary education (AOR=2.75, 1.13– 6.70) college above (AOR:3.77; 1.1.62– 8.76), wanted (AOR:2.70; 1.22– 5.97) (AOR:1.65; 1.06– 2.572) significant predictors for attitude.
