ABSTRACT
Medical genetic testing is an evolving side of clinical care that helps people to make informed medical and lifestyle decisions. The source knowledge, personal beliefs, attitude towards are the main determinative factors getting optimal utilization such technology in reducing/prevention diseases.A structured survey was used assess regarding among 463 young adults aged 18 years or older living North Jordan.More than three-quarters (77.1%) respondents were familiar with term testing. most common sources knowledge were: education they received (44.8%), internet (37.5%), social media (17.2%). Most (93.9%) believed a useful tool diagnose prevent diseases. Almost (72.7%) health system provides advice counseling those disease. A total 9.6% thought might cause physical risk their lives. In addition, 11.3% forbidden not permissible about 6.3% did agree performing future. Finally, half (53.4%) consider affordable remainder it costly.Our findings emphasize importance acquiring individuals, Issues related identified should be further improved, as cost prediction, safety, legitimacy get better outcomes Jordanian community.
