ABSTRACT
Cervical Myofascial Pain Syndrome (CMPS) is a common musculoskeletal disorder that significantly impacts daily life due to pain and restricted movement. This study focuses on Ultrasound-Guided Pharmacopuncture(UGP) release fascial restrictions alleviate nerve compression. By utilizing real-time ultrasound imaging, UGP expected enhance treatment accuracy, reduce adverse events, improve clinical outcomes. aims assess the efficacy safety of compared Non-Guided Pharmacopuncture (NGP) in patients with acute CMPS. multi-center prospective observational comparative evaluates versus NGP A minimum 100 CMPS (≤7 days since symptom onset) will be recruited from two hospitals five Korean medicine clinics. Participants randomly assigned either group (receiving ultrasound-guided pharmacopuncture Hominis Placenta(HP) solution) or non-guided HP solution). single session conducted, pre- post-treatment assessments using Numerical Rating Scale (NRS), Pressure Threshold (PPT), Range Motion (ROM). Additionally, follow-up assessment conducted via telephone 24-36 hours post-treatment. first evaluate for study. The findings are provide comprehensive evidence supporting as an effective myofascial may expand its applications, particularly
