ABSTRACT
The present study was designed to retrospectively evaluate the prognostic value of C-reactive protein/albumin (CRP/ALB) ratio in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC).One hundred and twenty-nine newly diagnosed LSCC patients admitted between May 2006 October 2011 were reviewed. Their serum CRP ALB quantified preoperatively. relationship CRP/ALB clinicopathologic features analyzed. Receiver operating characteristic curve used calculate ratio. Then, Cox proportional hazards model univariate multivariate analyses identify significant factors associated with disease-free survival overall survival. The cutoff for 0.047. An elevated significantly nodal metastasis, late disease stage, recurrence. Also, high values predictors poor on analysis.Pretreatment may be a marker LSCC.
