ABSTRACT
d-limonene is a plant extract with widespread application, and it has been recently reported to have antiproliferative proapoptotic effects on cancer cells. However, the mechanisms by which achieves these effects, especially in lung cancer, are not entirely clear. Therefore, goal of this study was examine explore its action. We examined therapeutic cells xenograft animal model characterizing pathways apoptosis autophagy. Cell proliferation measured using Counting Kit-8, determined flow cytometric analysis. Levels LC3 puncta, an autophagy marker, were analyzed laser scanning confocal microscopy. Autophagy apoptosis-related gene expression assessed real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction Western blot.d-limonene inhibited growth suppressed transplanted tumors nude mice. Expression autophagy-related genes increased after treatment d-limonene. Furthermore, use chloroquine, inhibitor, knockdown atg5 gene, induced d-limonene.d-limonene may effect as can induce promoting
