ABSTRACT
The outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has presented serious threats to people's health and lives. Police officers are bravely fighting on the front lines epidemic. main purpose this study was assess prevalence severity psychological responses among police during COVID-19 pandemic find influencing factors in depression anxiety.A cross-sectional online questionnaire administered Wuhu through WeChat, data were collected between March 10 26, 2020. A total 3,561 questionnaires received, which 3,517 considered valid. included demographic information a survey. scale Patient Health QuestionnaireQ9) Generalized Anxiety Disorder utilized anxiety, respectively.The mean score participants 4.10±4.87 (0-27), 12.17%had moderate-severe depression. anxiety 3.59±4.228 (0-21), 8.79% had anxiety. Older married at higher risk Those with bachelor's degree or above, living near city center, taking sleeping pills greater Auxiliary lower scores. Depression scores strongly correlated withanxiety (r=0.863, p<0.001).Our findings identify associated levels that can be develop interventions improve mental vulnerable populations pandemic.
