Adjunctive Statin Therapy Reduces Mortality After Acute Hemorrhagic Stroke

ABSTRACT
Background: Statin treatment improves clinical outcomes in patients with ischemic strokes, although there is no evidence regarding the safety of statin therapy intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). This study aimed at evaluating effects continuing after ICH. Methods: Data were obtained from National Health Insurance Research Database Taiwan. We retrospectively compared data and without exposure The interest recurrence hemorrhagic stroke mortality during a follow-up period 10 years. Results: During 10-year period, rate was 32.73% group 42.77% non-statin group. acute ICH dyslipidemia can decrease mortality. Conclusion: reduced risk who experienced stroke.
