ABSTRACT
The intercropping of second-crop corn with ruzigrass or showy rattlebox associated an increase in the nitrogen (N) rate can improve performance soybean succession. This study aimed to evaluate succession cultivated under N application rates, without (Urochloa ruziziensis) (Crotalaria spectabilis). experimental design was a complete randomized block split-plot scheme four replicates. plots were composed cultivation either sole (AG 9010 PRO) intercropped rattlebox, and subplots consisted different topdressing rates (0, 60, 120, 180, 240 kg ha-1). Soybean (BRS 1003 IPRO) grown no-tillage system (NTS). evaluated variables growth yield. corn, increased yield NTS. Second-crop provided greater amount straw NTS than rattlebox. However, systems did not influence Therefore, promotes sustainability fertilization which subsequently improves soybeans
