ABSTRACT
LIGNOCELLULOSIC BIOMASS.The second generation (2G) ethanol obtained from lignocellulosic biomass has been considered as a potential alternative source of energy for the transportation sector. However, technologies to convert lignocellulose into fermentable sugars still face several challenges. One major challenges this process is related cost cellulolytic enzymes. Thus, development bioprocesses enzyme production and strategies increase final yield enzymatic hydrolysis reactions are required ensure economic feasibility conversion process. In review, it discussed progress fungal technology over past few years with emphasis on biocatalysts needed cellulose degradation well cultivation enzymes on-site.The applying secretome analysis tool characterization complexes some limitations use cocktails in saccharification step, such unproductive adsorption onto lignin also light recent literature.
