ABSTRACT
The objective of this work was the detection and traceability occurrence diethyl phthalate (DEP) migrating from flexible packaging to food. Brazil is one largest producers plastics widely used in evaluation migrations contaminants for food, mainly fatty foods, elucidates possible transmission diseases through daily consumption migrant packaging. Throughout an accurate highly specific methodology, with no use simulants or organic solvents during sample preparation, proposal study obtained a direct DEP ranking migration via headspace: HS-GC-MS. Of 9 samples packaged foods analyzed, identified 100%, thus confirming its foods. Despite storage conditions: temperature, shelf life, fat content products manufacturer’s assessment use. It urgent review official standards promote intense restrictions on food encourage benefits reflecting habits.
