ABSTRACT
In this work, babassu FAME samples were synthesized by transesterification reaction under alkaline catalysis with sodium glyceroxide and two steps process KOH followed H2SO4 as catalysts. A sequential multi-element method for determination of Zn, Fe, Mg, Ca, Na K in high resolution continuum source flame atomic absorption spectrometry (HR-CS FAAS) was developed. The proposed is based on a microemulsion formation mixing the 1-propanol aqueous phase. mass proportion added components evaluated through ternary diagram. External matrix-matching calibration techniques inorganic organic standard investigated. five-level spike-recovery test, satisfactory results obtained performing along solutions. By using optimized conditions, limits detection range 0.002-0.12 mg kg-1 obtained. Accuracy attested agreement analysis three certified reference materials. applying system HR-CS FAAS, six elements achieved. Therefore, suitable alternative metal samples, good sensitivities, accuracy, wide linear working range.
