ABSTRACT
Background: Intussusception is the most common abdominal emergency in pediatrics, especially children younger than 2 years of age. It widely believed that hydrostatic reduction intussusception less successful with prolonged symptoms prior to their presentation. The aim this study was evaluate success relation duration symptoms. Patients and Methods: A prospective conducted at Alexandria University Hospitals where all presented ultrasound proven from January 2021 May 2023 were included. In cases, performed unless there clinical or radiological evidence peritonitis perforation. Patient details, including presenting symptoms, these physical findings, findings on x ray prospectively recorded. Results: Out 174 intussusception, attempted 148 117 (79%). There 20 reductions <12 hours (76%), 45 for 12-24 (83%), 35 24-48 (76%) 17 >48 (77%). Conclusions: not significantly affected by
