ABSTRACT
One of the main environmental toxins that pose a risk to human health is cadmium (Cd) which especially affected fertility. This investigation aimed study whether Stem Enhancer® was able treat chloride-evoked testicular toxicity or not.About 36 male rats were divided into 6 groups equally: control group, tween80 and StemEnhance® group received 198mg/kg b. w. /days orally, chloride (Cdcl2) 15 mg/kg b.w./ day orally for 45 consecutive days, Cdcl2+distilled water Cdcl2 15mg/kg/day then it distilled another days Cdcl2+ StemEnhance®group 198 body weight days. The results demonstrated CdCl2 reduced sperm motility, count, relative testes increased percentage dead abnormalities caused histopathological alterations.CdCl2 decreased level testosterone, FSH total antioxidant in serum. However, profile treated improved, as capacity increased. So by inhibiting oxidative stress acting bone marrow stem cell mobilizer, StemEnhance®, according our findings, may be damage chloride.
