PRODUCTIVE AND ECONOMIC EFFEICIENCY OF GROWING RABBITS FED TWO LEVELS OF PROTEIN

ABSTRACT
Eighty male New Zealand White (NZW) rabbits aged 5 weeks, with average body weight 823.17±11.13g were randomly distributed into two experimental groups (40 each) till 10 weeks of age.The 1 st group (T ) received diet contains 17% CP (low) vs. 19% (high) for 2 nd ), respectively.Initial and final (IBW FBW), feed intake (FI), daily gain (DBWG), conversion ratio (FCR), an economic evaluation determined.Results showed that the in T significantly improved FBW, DBWG performance index (PI) .However, (DFI), FCR increased compared .Feed cost was lower than .While, net profit (LE) higher .Finally, Rabbits revenue relative efficiency Conclusively, from these results it could be concluded using growing productive but achieve good efficiency.
