ABSTRACT
Nitrogen and phosphorus are major nutrients to cause eutrophication degrade the water quality of Miyun Reservoir, a very important drinking source Beijing in China. These mainly from non-point sources. The watershed County is selected as study region with total area 1400 km2. Four typical monitoring catchments two experimental units were used monitor precipitation, runoff, sediment yield pollutant loading related various land uses meantime. results show that nutrient loss amount TN TP 898.07 t/a, 40.70 respectively, which N P carried by runoff 91.3% 77.3%, respectively. There relatively heavier soil erosion at northern mountain whereas main occurs near northeast rim reservoir. Different influence pollutants. agricultural per unit highest, forestry second highest grassland lowest. However, due variability use areas, contributes greatest lands TN.
