ABSTRACT
Mesothelioma is a neoplasm considered infrequent in canines. Its peritoneal location not common dogs when compared to the pleural origin. This study aims report case of metastatic trabecular epithelioid mesothelioma dog, diagnosed through anatomopathological and immunohistochemical examination. The patient was hospitalized treated, but his clinical picture worsened, euthanasia chosen. At necropsy, main findings were abdomen thorax with presence tumor nodules soft consistency, cuts pinkish-brown color. Histologically, they composed malignant mesothelial cells, predominantly cells arranged cords. There metastasis lungs, kidneys, lymphatic vessels heart. Samples submitted analysis showed cytoplasmic immunoreaction for anti-human cell (HBME-1) anti-cytokeratin (AE1/AE3), addition moderate proliferative index evidenced by reaction against proliferation nuclear antigen cellular (PCNA). no staining vimentin anti-epithelial (EMA). Thus, that it multiple sites.
