ABSTRACT
The aim of this school-based, cross-sectional survey was to investigate the prevalence and risk factors permanent Molar Incisor Hypomineralization among 7-9 years old school children in Muradnagar.This study performed Muradnagar. Estimated sample size 992 study. Multistage cluster sampling technique used which schools were clusters selected randomly. proforma divided into 2 parts, first part comprised demographic status, socio-economic questionnaires on Hypomineralisation such as prenatal, perinatal postnal history upto 3 years, feeding pattern, fluoride other pollutants exposure history, dental trauma teeth/face, family enamel defects asked mothers filled by one examiner a face interview. second recording format clinical variables assessed investigator be recorded clerk. incisor hypomineralisation using Modified Developmental Defect Enamel index developed Clarkson J.J. O' Mullane D.M. 1989 caries Decayed Missing Filled Tooth (World Health Organization Modification 1997) WHO probe for examination recommended Oral Surveys, Fourth edition; 1997 (Spanish version). Before modification explorer caries. Chi square test, Pearson's Correlation Logistic Regression Analysis Unpaired t-test analysing data.The overall rate 21.4% Age, problems during pregnancy, normal delivery childhood illness/ infections are have highest strength association.In present found affect out every 10 examined higher than that observed studies Indian children.
