ABSTRACT
Metastasis is the main cause of death in cancer patients, and spite its significance, it still incompletely understood. In order for to be metastatic, must undergo a sequence events, termed as metastatic cascade. The ability cells migrate invade surrounding tissue critical step metastasis often associated with formation specific cellular structures called invadopodia. Invadopodia are actin-based protrusions tumour or transformed critically involved protease secretion targeting, cytoskeletal rearrangements enabling invasion. Anti-invadopodia therapy possible new field anti-metastatic treatment. We propose here novel model drug discovery anti-invadopodial compounds based on large scale screening invadopodia 2D setting followed by validation results complex 3D matrices such dermis-based matrix.
