ABSTRACT
A 69-year-old man presented with progressive paralysis of the right arm and leg a past history metastatic rectal cancer. Magnetic resonance imaging showed cystic mass lesion posterior to odontoid process. Under preoperative diagnosis intradural extramedullary tumor, partial transcondylectomy C1 hemilaminectomy were performed, cyst was removed through transdural approach, decompressing medulla oblongata cervical spinal cord. The histological juxtafacet (ganglion cyst). An atlantoaxial intraspinal at level process is extremely rare. In our case, using resulting in rapid improvement symptoms.
