The impact of sheep testis extract on hair follicle growth and skin healing of Wistar rats

Androgens have been proved to positive effect on hair follicle growth and wound healing; therefore this study was aimed mainly evaluate the impact of sheep testis extract improvement as well recovery injuries skin Wistar rats.In experimental study, rats were randomly divided into 7 groups: control (negative control), sham (treatment with physiologic serum), group 1 100% extract), 2 75% 3 50% honey for evaluation healing) Minoxidil growth).Then, killed removed approximate fixed in 10% formalin, kept paraffin block.In addition, serial sections 6 µm thickness prepared hematoxylin eosin staining performed.Then, epidermal thickness, number fibroblast, basal cells, inflammatory vessel bud assessed.Statistical analysis performed by one way ANOVA, Tukey test at p ˃0.05.The results showed that healing process, formation, reepithelialization, angiogenesis, cell, fibroblasts, follicles significantly improved groups (in comparison (p˃0.05).Results demonstrated induced regeneration rats, which can be suggested a suitable candidate clinical studies due its richness androgen factors.
