Knowledge and Acceptability of the COVID-19 Vaccine Among Obstetricians and Gynecologists in Korea, and Factors Affecting Its Recommendation in the Pregnant Population

ABSTRACT
Purpose: To analyze the overall knowledge and attitude of healthcare providers regarding coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccine recommendations for pregnant women factors affecting these opinions in Korea.Methods: We conducted a nationwide survey study obstetricians gynecologists registered Korean Society Obstetrics Gynecology. The knowledge, attitude, COVID-19 vaccination were investigated.Results: Among 258 participants, 182 (70.5%) answered that they recommended women, while 76 (29.5%) did not. administrative district physician's center adverse reactions to on recommendation. Physicians working metropolitan cities 7.3 times more likely recommend than those Seoul. aware safety profiles 25.36 vaccines who A significantly higher proportion group provided information compared nonrecommended also booster shot vaccination. Guidelines from academic societies (70.9%) government public centers (64.8%) important recommendation group, additional results (57.1%) nonrecommendation group.
