ABSTRACT
<sec> <title>BACKGROUND</title> Cutaneous leishmaniasis (CL) is endemic in the Middle East, with countries such as Syria reporting high incidence rates. </sec> <title>OBJECTIVE</title> This study aimed to assess trends of cutaneous Jordan from 2010 2016. <title>METHODS</title> retrospective included all cases CL that had been reported Leishmaniasis Surveillance System Department Communicable Diseases at Ministry Health during period A total 1243 were and met case definition. <title>RESULTS</title> (60.65% [754/1243] males 39.34% [489/1243] females) diagnosed period. Of this sample, 233 patients (19.13%) aged &lt;5 years old, 451 (37.03%) between 5-14 190 (15.60%) 15-24 344 (28.24%) ≥25 old. those, 646 (51.97%) Jordanians 559 (44.97%) Syrians.
