ABSTRACT
<sec> <title>BACKGROUND</title> British Columbia residents have access to a program called QuitNow that provides behavioral support and information about pharmacotherapy nicotine tobacco users. While quantitative evidence reveals significant promise for web-based services like QuitNow, there is very little qualitative available. Understanding website utilization experiences of end-users key contextualizing the effectiveness cessation providing directions enhancing these services. </sec> <title>OBJECTIVE</title> Our interview study seeks delve into users' which supplemented by Google Analytics data. <title>METHODS</title> We interviewed 10 users using semi-structured interviews understand what they liked most least QuitNow. transcribed conducted an inductive thematic analysis NVivo software extract common themes user experiences. also gathered metrics via (n=13,856 users) aspects were used during period. <title>RESULTS</title> Thematic yielded five major themes: 1) Barriers reduce opportunities take quit action; 2) Lack clarity around pharmacological options discouraging; 3) Hearing from others important part journey; 4) Rewards serve as incentive keep going; 5) Recognition own agency in process. These contextualized supported <title>CONCLUSIONS</title> Results this point several implications improving website, well general.
