ABSTRACT
This is a study of the personal dynamics process organizational identification in U.S. Forest Service, an organization noted for high degree its members. It was hypothesized and found that increased as function time commitment to pivotal goal, public service. Organizational position, with tenure held constant, did not relate identification. further several characteristics suggestive service orientation were related also member's higherorder need satisfactions.
