ABSTRACT
ABSTRACTPrevious studies of Heterobasidion annosum have shown the existence two intersterility groups (biological species) designated “S” and “P.” Nearly complete exists between Finnish representatives groups; however, a significant degree interfertility North American “P” groups. Analyses progeny from laboratory crosses identified five genes that specify intersterile interfertile mating reactions. Segregation alleles was observed for four genes, linkage analysis performed, model interaction these is proposed.
