ABSTRACT
SYNOPSIS Extant accounting research based on data from the United States, Europe, and Australia finds that increases in carbon emissions are associated with lower firm value. However, recent indicates investor perspectives corporate social responsibility (CSR) other parts of world differ those Western investors. This study investigates whether emissions, as one indicator poor CSR performance, also a value Taiwan.
