ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect RaCe, FlexMaster and ProFile rotary instruments on smear layer formation by scanning electron microscopy. Eighty-four caries-free freshly extracted human single-rooted teeth were selected divided into three groups, each containing 28 teeth. instrumented with sequentially: Group A: Rotary Instruments; B: C: RaCe Instruments. Instrumentation performed crown-down method according manufacturer's instructions. specimens then examined SEM Hülsmann's classification. One-way ANOVA a post hoc Tukey test used for statistical analysis. results showed that there no statistically significant differences among groups in coronal third (P = 0.39), but at apical middle thirds between group other < 0.05).
