ABSTRACT
To estimate the impact of type 1 diabetes during pregnancy on transgenerational genetically caused and/or fuel-mediated amplification types and 2 to elevated amniotic fluid insulin levels.A total 75 white offspring diabetic mothers 49 control subjects similar age pubertal stage were examined at 5-15 years age. All had an oral glucose tolerance test. Glucose, insulin, C-peptide measured 0, 30, 60, 120 min after loading. Lipids autoimmune antibodies in fasting plasma.Of offspring, 4 (5.3%) overt diabetes, 16 71 (22.5%) antibodies. Offspring significantly higher BMI; symmetry indexes; cholesterol, glucose, levels; resistance than subjects. With exception these values who levels (>8 microU/ml, >48 pmol/l) compared with normoinsulinemic subjects.Offspring have increased risk for later life. The relative is 71.6 3.2, respectively. Type diabetes-associated factors, such as high resistance, are related fetal metabolic experience utero, reflected by concentration.
