ABSTRACT
This case report presents a detailed account of 16-year-old student who experienced series psychiatric symptoms culminating in suicide attempt. He initially exhibited paranoid delusions, auditory hallucinations, and disorganized thinking, leading to his admission ward. The treatment with aripiprazole delorazepam led an improvement positive symptoms, but about two months after the onset psychotic patient developed debilitating depression persistent feelings sadness, hopelessness, suicidal ideation. highlights complexity diagnosing treating postpsychotic (PPD) context early psychosis. evolution this patient's including transition from psychosis severe depression, underscores need for timely intervention. role antipsychotic antidepressant treatments is also examined, focus on tailoring interventions unique needs young patients PPD. study emphasizes importance detection, intervention, follow-up individuals experiencing depressive following episode.
