Using Ontology and Rules to Retrieve the Semantics of Disaster Remote Sensing Data

Remote sensing data plays an important role in natural disaster management. However, with the increase of variety and quantity remote sensors, problem "knowledge barriers" arises when users field retrieve data. To improve this problem, paper proposes ontology rule based retrieval (ORR) method to data, introduces technology express earthquake knowledge, on basis, realizes task suitability reasoning mining semantic relationship between metadata disasters. The prototype system is built according ORR method, which compared traditional using can reduce knowledge requirements process efficiency.
