ABSTRACT
This work presents a qubit controller IC based on the direct synthesis. The consists of six independently-working pulse modulators utilizing same LO frequency. We propose sinusoid-shaping nonlinear DAC followed by linear interpolating to improve both energy and hardware efficiencies. implemented in 40nm CMOS is verified superconducting operations with Rabi Ramsey oscillations while consuming power < 1/60 compared previous state-of-the-art.
