ABSTRACT
This article is dedicated to analyzing the approaches to evaluating the impact of digitalization on the quality of life of the population. The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that digital transformation has a complex im-pact on various spheres of society, including the standard and quality of life of people. The study examines the theoretical foundations of this concept and its primary components. It analyzes existing methodologies for as-sessing the impact of digitalization on quality of life, such as the Digital Development Index, the Digital Com-petitiveness Index, and the Networked Readiness Index. The strengths and limitations of these methodologies are identified. Based on the conducted analysis, the article proposes an original approach to evaluating the impact of digitalization on the quality of life of the population, which is grounded in a comprehensive consid-eration of both objective and subjective indicators. This approach encompasses the assessment of the acces-sibility and use of digital technologies, their influence on living standards, social well-being, health, and the environment. The research results can be used by public authorities and local governments in the development and implementation of digital transformation programs, taking into account their impact on the quality of life of citizens.
