ABSTRACT
The communities who live around Sibolangit Tourism Park have developed nontimber forest products (NTFP) in their own agroforestry lands. This research evaluates the potential economic and development prospects from NTFP by examining: (1) type of value community agrofrestry land, (2) contribution NTFPs on household income, (3) NTFP-based Park. was conducted two selected villages Park: Sembahe Village Batu Mbelin Village. took place over a period between June August 2016. Research data obtained in-depth interviews observations. A descriptive method used to analyze describe facts related aims. cultivated at sites include mangosteen, durian, garcinia, candlenut, lanzones, lansium, bitter bean, areca nut (as forestry component) ginger, turmeric, chili, papaya, etlingera, banana agriculture component).
