Evaluation of a commercial high resistance bridge and methods to improve its precision

At the National Institute of Metrological Research (INRIM) an evaluation a commercial dual source high resistance bridge has been performed.Its two main measurement modes (single measurements and multiple measurements) have investigated.The best settle time 10:1 ratio estimated to be about three times constant circuit involving resistors.This constant, in turn, depends on highest value resistor.By means mathematical estimators, suitable numbers readings detector established order minimize noises.A compatibility test at 100 TΩ shown that precision is achieved utilizing mode with auto update function.This also allows characterization resistor as function time.This can useful for owner who request laboratory perform calibration which necessary him.
