ABSTRACT
The lumbosacral region of the spine is most susceptible to pathology in large breed dogs. The common pathologies this segment include intervertebral disc disease, distortion vertebrae, narrowing canal and congenital defects spine. The aim study develop a mathematical model describing height each vertebra dog relation position vertebra. For analysis we used results two measurements for lumbar vertebra. The first measurement was made from top spinous process center spinal cord. The second body one next one.It possible determine an approximate that would be uniform entire species connect vertebrae with their location every domestic dog.Despite considerable differences constitutional type (small, medium breeds), morphology exhibits similar proportions. Therefore, it assess anomaly objectively. These findings suggest species. The present carried out as part larger project. This particular work pilot study.
