ABSTRACT
Objective To compare histologic lesions in the stomach and duodenum of dogs cats with without lymphocytic-plasmacytic enteritis (LPE). Design Case-control study. Animals 20 clinically normal dogs, 40 LPE, 10 cats, LPE. Results Unevenness mucosal surface was detected 4 (20%) (25%) Mucosal friability 16 (40%) LPE (50%) Histologically, had various degrees fibrosis gastric lamina propria. All slight fibrosis. Clinically infiltrates Inflammatory cells similar to those seen dogs. Significantly more plasma lymphocytes were duodenal propria than animals. Clinical Implications should be diagnosed by counting number then comparing that ( J Am Vet Med Assoc 1996;209:95–97)
