ABSTRACT
Abstract Diagnosing coagulation disorders can be challenging in primary care practice due to the complexity of pathways, confusing terminology, and special requirements for sample collection. This article highlights common problems identified submissions testing provides solutions help clinicians overcome these obstacles. Blood collection procedures optimal quality are described, diagnostic algorithms presented that guide test selection facilitate interpretation results successful patient management.
