ABSTRACT
Abstract Human mpox is a zoonotic disease, caused by the virus (MPXV), that can spread either between animals and humans or humans. In 1970 first human case of was reported in Zaire, Democratic Republic Congo (DRC). Other notable outbreaks non-endemic countries were identified June 2003 United States, July 2021 Dallas (USA), most recent one May 2022 Europe Kingdom (UK). During outbreak, sexual intercourse observed to be prevalent transmission method, although other means should not ignored, such as involvement respiratory droplets, exposure surfaces skin suspected contamination. context current we consider it important necessary correctly identify virus, use proper laboratory testing for correct diagnosis mpox, understand prophylaxis, apply treatment, highlighting these facts being aim this study.
