Hybrid photonics structures with grating and prism couplers based on ZnO waveguides

ABSTRACT
Abstract This paper presents the results of investigations concerning input-output systems an electromagnetic wave in visible and near spectrum for their application structures integrated optics. The used described planar optical waveguides are a form prism grating couplers. first part contains numerical analysis couplers aiming at optimization geometrical parameters, strictly — depth grooves coupler. second practical realization, as well experimental tests waveguide with hybrid system. As input system wave, coupler was used, case output photonic structure applied. investigated guides were made wide energy band gap semiconductor zinc oxide (ZnO).
