ABSTRACT
This paper shows the work developed in order correctly to assess fraction of total ozone levels that meteorology variables account for coastal area Bilbao. Following methodology by KolmogorovZurbenko, low-pass KZ filters have been applied daily data as well variables. According this methodology, time series values studied decomposed into trend, high frequency or random noise component, and long cycles term. The conclusions show unlike previous works, a zone such Bilbao temperature itself does not great fractions overall variability ozone. results nearly 85% can be attributed meteorological variables, most important being wind speed, radiation temperature.
