ABSTRACT
In this research, the microstructure and tensile properties of Cu–2–7 mass% Al alloys in α single-phase region on phase diagram fabricated by laser powder bed fusion (PBF-LB) process casting were systematically examined, their formation mechanism strengthening investigated. As a result, micro-fine cellular structures formed segregation due to constitutional supercooling rapid solidification phenomenon PBF-LB leaded high strength 0.2% proof stress, which much higher than those castings. It was revealed that performance Cu–Al is attributed heterogeneous process.
