ABSTRACT
Caper plant belonging to the genus Capparis (family Capparaceae) is a used in traditional medicine cure various illnesses since ancient times. Studies have shown significant medicinal properties of species. This study was designed examine vitro antifungal and antioxidant activity methanolic extracts ovata buds. It determined that inhibited NO radical dose-dependent manner exhibited reducing power activity. According standard pyrocatechol graph, 1 mg contains 19.64 µg phenolic equivalent pyrocatechol. In susceptibilty testing extract against eight different fungal strains were by broth macrodilution method. MIC values has moderate conclusion, found potential. Hence, this could potential be oxidative stress related many disease conditions.
