ABSTRACT
In this paper, we present an inverse scattering approach based on a neural network technique for the detection of dielectric targets buried in lossy half-space. particular, focus attention analysis capability to localize given cylinder starting from known values electromagnetic scattered field evaluated at number points near half-space interface. The robustness developed is firstly tested by considering target and/or scenario characterized parameters different those used during training phase and secondly using noisy input data.
